Toblerone

High Resolution

My parents brought back a bag of these from Switzerland. At first a made a vow to not eat any of these. But really, who am I kidding? If there’s chocolate in the house I’m going to eat it and derive great enjoyment and comfort from it :)

Rosco After Bath

This is Rosco right after his bath. He looks so sad, but in reality he loves bathing. He stands on that stone for around 2 hours while someone washes him, dries him off and then tends to his fur.

Dhoom 3

Went and watched Dhoom: 3 with my family today. I was very disappointed with the plot (but then again, this is a Hindi movie, so I really wasn’t expecting any better). Aamir Khan was alright, not as good as he’s been in the past. Katrina Kaif really didn’t fit in, and the rest of the movie was meh. Still, I’m always happy watching cruddy movies, so it’s all good :)

We watched it at PVR Forum, which was decorated up for Christmas/New Year.

Rosco

This is a variant of a photo I’ve already posted. I shot this on my iPhone and edited it with VSCO Cam. I quite like VSCO Cam. The interface is weird and is not exactly a delight to use, but I love the feature set. I quite like how it turned out.

Shoes

High Resolution

This week’s theme is “Comfort/warmth”.

I bought this pair of running shoes a couple of days ago. My old New Balance shoes had ripped open in several spots and I had been meaning to replace them for around 3 months. I finally got around to it. With this pair, I’m back to wearing Reebok again :)

As with all shoes, it takes me a while to break them in and really get my feet used to them (hence comfort). I wore them to the gym yesterday and did some sports training. Mostly involved running with a rope ladder on the floor, jumping on benches, push ups and so on. I used to do this sort of training back in middle school when I went to football camp for a couple of summers. I remember it being a lot easier back then. Now all I can feel is my core hurting, my lungs struggling to keep up and my heart thudding. Still, this is the sort of workout that I really enjoy doing. Makes me feel like I’ve achieved something when I’m done.
