Finally made it over to Orion mall for the first time today. The place is huge. It’s also really beautiful.

There’s an office building nearby (I believe Amazon’s Bangalore offices are here):

Inside the mall, I went to landmark to waste some time. I found this section of Agatha Christie books (I’ve always been a huge fan of the Poirot series):

We went bowling a Blu O. I finished 2nd overall.

We followed that up with pool/billiards/whatever. I suck at this game.

We wrapped up the evening at Chili’s:

There was a fire in the office today. Some electrical board in the basement lit up. It had rained pretty heavily in the afternoon and I was complaining about the rain. I had told everyone I hated the rain because everything goes haywire when it rains. There’s no power, no internet, the traffic is horrible, etc. etc. V however kept saying she loved the rain. I guess this is what you get when you love the rain…

We all came outside (the smoke was incredible thick) and stood in front of the office. We called a fire engine, and I was extremely impressed with how quickly it got there (under 5 minutes).

Fortunately, there was no major damage and nobody was hurt. Once we realized this, we decided to have some fun and took an Ellen style selfie in front of the fire engine. Considering that this was my first attempt at a selfie, I think it turned out ok.

I voted today. I was also a little upset by the reactions of some people, so I wrote a blog post about it.

I’m so behind, so I’m going to skip a few days and catch up later.

This is from a small dessert cafe in Indiranagar called Berry’d Alive. I quite liked it. Obviously, the one on the right (chocolate ice cream, peanut butter, and chocolate sauce) is mine.
